But I don't want to start knocking the film or playing what if... The trailer looks great, I'm sure Depp is cool, I can't wait to see the film... It's just that a little part of my brain will always say "it could have benn REALLY perfect if..." -

Tue, June 28, 2005 - 6:46 PMi love walken and johnny depp, and strangely, i can also see walken playing wonka. yes, he can be creepy, but i think he can also pull off a less-creepy character [i think of the cowbell skit on SNL].
i can't wait to see this on the big screen, though i have to say that johnny depp seems pretty young to play wonka. he could at least have had a little goatee like in the book. -
